Pastor Jozef has headed back to his home to pack and get ready for this evenings Mass Deliverance Workshop. They leave for Nigeria tomorrow (Saturday 17th Nov) at 2:00pm and so every minute is precious. For those who do not know, the preparation for this part of the Mission has been very difficult and the resolve of everyone has been tested. However we are seeing victories and expect to see great breakthroughs as we progress into this Nigerian School of Deliverance 101 Misssion.

Hello Dear Friends,

Joy in Calabar

I know we have been away for 2 weeks and really sent no news back to Canada. As they say “no news is no news!” There has been reasons for our silence, certainly not because we have nothing to say, most of you know us better than that. We have actually not had the opportunity, either because of no internet availability, or when we have a connection, which by the way we have never had a good one, we send the few emergency emails that are necessary.

So here goes something; I am sitting in our hotel room in Port Harcourt, Nigeria; no internet tonight but tomorrow we are assured we will. So just putting this together on `word` because Pastor Jozef has told me we must send Colin (our webmaster) something to put on the website.

So far we have completed `two schools of deliverance 101`, the first in Ibeno, Akwa-Ibom State, the second in Calabar, Cross River State, the latter finished late last night and we have been traveling all day to get to Port Harcourt to start our third school tomorrow. Each school consists of fifteen teachings over three days, culminating in a deliverance service on the third day.

I must say a little about the deliverance service in Calabar last night; this is the workshop part of the school, where we put the theory we are teaching into practice so that the students, mostly pastors and church workers, get to experience some deliverance in their own lives and certainly to see manifestations right in front of their eyes. This helps everyone involved to realise the reality of this ministry, by signs and wonders following. The deliverance service as usual consisted of a short teaching to heighten understanding, some prayers of repentance and renunciation, some declarations and finally the calling out of the unwanted spirits.

As usual there were many visibly and audibly being set free, perhaps even more than usual, including most of the worship team, many of the church workers, also a lady from neighbouring Cameroons who had heard of what was happening, she was really the first to respond and got a huge amount of deliverance, certainly a successful service. But what happened next is what stuck in my mind so much that I must report to you. That is that the whole church erupted in spontaneous praise and worship, such an outpouring of joy from those who had been set free.

Acts 8:6-8 ``And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.``
